About Kayla:
Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, and relationships like a constant struggle. We have a knowledge that it wasn’t meant to be this way and feel compelled to take the first steps toward wholeness but sometimes don’t know where to begin. Through compassion and empathy, I partner with clients to begin their healing journey. I seek first to understand their story, providing a safe and secure place to process the pain. It is my core belief that no problem is too messy and no challenging situation is without hope.
I enjoy counseling individuals, couples and families and I would be honored to partner with you in your journey. I work with a variety of difficulties including anxiety and depression, painful or past experiences, identity and life goals, infidelity and trust in relationships, along with many other concerns.
My specialties include working with individuals, couples, families, and spiritual integration. Additionally, I am a certified PREPARE/ENRICH facilitator, Betrayal Trauma Certified, use EMDR for trauma recovery, and enjoy adding the perspective of the Enneagram to my work with clients. In addition to the training I have received as a Counselor, I also have extensive work experience in holistic living, development, and multiculturalism.
