About Diana:
Book Diana
Specializing in trauma, sexual addictions, sexual abuse, multiple addictions, sex/porn addicts, partners of sex addicts, and PTSD, I have trained under Dan Allender and earned an Advanced Counseling Certificate (a year-long addendum to my Master’s Degree) in trauma-focused narrative therapy for working with abuse victims. I am currently training under Patrick Carnes at the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals and hold the credential CSAT®-c (Certified Sex Addiction Therapist candidate). Addiction, abuse and trauma are viewed as symptoms rather than defining characteristics. I seek an approach to recovery that embraces positive, proactive, sustainable change.
Change occurs through crisis, chance or choice. Conscious choice brings constructive, sustainable change. I help you focus on re-narrating negative thoughts, redefining formative relationships, restoring a healthy self-identity and regaining an emotional, physical, and spiritual balance. My goal is to accurately assess then offer personalized, safe, therapeutic interventions.
A holistic, proactive, client-centered model, equips individuals to manage their out of control behaviors. The choices others make often dramatically impact our world. We have no control over our circumstances, only our reactions. Adopting a positive perspective and bringing life into balance, facilitates the restoration of wholeness and health.
